BHS offers a comprehensive portfolio of impact crushers (type PB) and impact mills (type PM) with a horizontal shaft (HSI) for applications with low or medium performance requirements. BHS impact crushers and mills provide you with a lot of crushing power while maintaining a consistent grading curve. Intensive research delivered information we used to completely redesign the machines over the past few years. You benefit from an improved crushing performance and lower operating costs due to maintenance and wear.

Despite their compact dimensions, BHS impact crushers and impact mills have a very large feed opening. This means that the crushing chamber ideally supports fast processing cycles since material jamming is avoided.

We offer different systems for adjusting the gap width, including fully automatic ones. The hydraulic opening mechanism of the casing ensures easy maintenance. Thanks to a patented mounting system, the baffle plates can be used on both sides and are easy to replace.

We offer the special service of performing industrial-scale crushing tests on customer-specific materials at our technical center in Sonthofen.

Alternative crushing chamber designs

We offer various impact crusher and impact mill designs that cater to different applications and requirements. The crushing system is either equipped with monoblock casting or welded baffle plates and with or without wear parts made of white cast iron. The impact mill features an additional grinding track beneath the rotor shaft.

Metal-containing waste, e.g. slag, incineration ash and dross, are formed during the production of metals and are to be recycled as waste-derived materials. To obtain an optimal and marketable separated product from the processing of these material groups, the process parameters must be individually adjusted depending on the required final product, but series of tests conducted at the BHS test centre have shown that the above-mentioned wastederived materials can be processed in the same machine systems despite different their material properties.
