Autopress AP hermetically tight and safe filtration  
The BHS Autopress can be used for separating even poor filtering suspensions efficiently in batch mode operation. The working principle is similar to a filter press, but the Autopress is completely gas-tight and runs fully automatically - also in terms of cake discharge. The filter can be incorporated into a completely contained and enclosed process (also GMP compliant) meeting all requirements in terms of sterility, explosion protection, workplace safety and validated process operation.

The filter cake can undergo further treatment by washing, extraction, pressing, blow-out and drying. The thin cake thickness and complete filtration without any residues ensure high throughput rates. Another benefit is the low residual moisture content of the filter cake. The highly efficient cake washing of the BHS Autopress provides an absolutely clean product without any cross contamination.
