BHS offers a wide variety of impact crushers (type PB) and mills (type PM) with horizontal shaft and ranging from low to medium capacity. With BHS impact crushers and mills, you obtain excellent crushing results with a constant grain-size curve. In the last few years, the machines have been fully redesigned on the basis of comprehensive research. For you, the result is better crushing performance and lower operating costs in terms of maintenance and wear.

Impact crushers are most often used for rock crushing, but the machines are also used in the recycling industry to process hard and brittle materials of all kinds.

All BHS impact crushers and mills have a very large feed opening relative to their size. This enables optimum utilization of the crushing chamber during the process sequence and prevents clogging.

We offer a variety of devices for adjusting the gap width, including fully automatic systems. The hydraulic system for opening the housing helps make the machines very easy to maintain. Our patented retaining system means the blow bars are reversible and easy to exchange.

At our in-house technical center in Sonthofen, we can conduct large-scale crushing tests using customer-specific materials.

Impact Stresses for Selective Comminution - For processing slag, incineration ash and dross

Metal-containing waste, e.g. slag, incineration ash and dross, are formed during the production of metals and are to be recycled as waste-derived materials. To obtain an optimal and marketable separated product from the processing of these material groups, the process parameters must be individually adjusted depending on the required final product, but series of tests conducted at the BHS test centre have shown that the above-mentioned wastederived materials can be processed in the same machine systems despite different their material properties.
