Mixing expertise
Mixing is a systematically controlled random process. The aim of any mixing process is to fully homogenize substances that have different properties and, as a rule, different proportions. The goal of mixing is to create highly intense relative movements throughout the material being mixed. All the particles of the mixed material must be set in motion in such a way that the direction and intensity of the individual movements are as varied as possible and change continuously. This can be easily achieved with the three-dimensional motion process used by BHS mixers.
Mixing processes can be performed in batch or continuous mode. With a continuous process, the particular challenge is to continuously weigh the individual mixing components precisely in accordance with the formula. In addition, the desired homogeneity must be reliably achieved within a given short mixing time.
BHS mixers are available for batch and continuous processes. They are suitable for all tasks in which solids (dry or moist) are processed. Primary applications are the production of concrete, mortar or cement. These mixers also have a variety of applications in the environmental and waste disposal industries as well as mining and other sectors.
