Comprehensive 3D planning of nitrogen circuits

A nitrogen (N2) circuit combined with the BHS rotary pressure filter (type RPF) or BHS belt filter (type BF) provides an efficient way of storing and using nitrogen. Nitrogen is used for drying and/or blowing out the filter cake. Especially for solvent production facilities, the nitrogen circuit is a safe, economical solution for a continuous nitrogen supply and minimized nitrogen consumption. In addition, the gas recirculation process recovers the solvent used as a washing agent in the filter system, thereby optimizing consumption of solvents. Contamination of the washing agent is prevented by using the same solvent as an operating fluid in the gas recirculation system in compliance with industry standards.

Process criteria:

Mode of operation continuous
Operating pressure up to 8 bar (g)
Output 10 - 1500 m³/h
