BHS subsidiary founded in Australia

With effect from December 1st, 2014, BHS-Sonthofen has established its fifth international subsidiary "BHS-Sonthofen (Aust) Pty Ltd" near Newcastle in New South Wales to the north of Sydney in Australia. This step is intended to improve our market presence for customers in Australia and New Zealand in the future and to ensure local market support and technical service. In the past, BHS-Sonthofen has already supplied machines to the building materials, aggregates and mining industries on a regular basis and successfully put them into operation. The step was an important strategic decision aimed at creating an improved and faster local capability of covering the constantly growing demand for mixing, crushing and recycling machines and plants. In recent years, there has been a significant increase especially in inquiries from the recycling industry and the environmental protection sector.

BHS-Sonthofen has been cooperating successfully with a partner in Newcastle in the field of mixing technology for many years. This company has extensive experience with BHS mixing technology both as an operator and as a dealer. It was out of this long-standing collaborative partnership that an opportunity arose mid-2014 to establish the BHS subsidiary in Australia as a joint venture with this partner. BHS-Sonthofen is thus now in an ideal position to offer competent consulting, sales and technical services in Australia. Moreover, customers now have an opportunity to conduct mixing and crushing tests in Newcastle with a range of machines and customer-specific materials. This is a great advantage since only by evaluating the test results does the customer have a reliable data-backed basis ensuring maximum security of investment.
