Aluminum scrap comes in a variety of forms. Most of it is contaminated or combined with other materials. Another frequent problem is that particle sizes are too large, making further crushing necessary. Our vertical-shaft crushing machines solve both problems. Even heavy items such as aluminum engine blocks with cast iron components can be reliably disaggregated. The appropriate BHS Rotorshredder (RS), rotor impact mill (RPMV) or rotor centrifugal crusher (RSMX) depends on your specific scenario and can be determined through testing at our technical center. Aluminum can be reliably recovered as pure fraction using downstream standard separation procedures.
