Urban mining: recovering high-quality secondary raw materials

Recycling of waste materials is a rapidly growing application in mechanical process engineering. The solutions demanded by the market are complex, and legal requirements are becoming more stringent every year. As a result, technological development must keep up with the pace of change. Tackling this challenge takes innovation and experience.

In the late 1990s, we developed the first crushing machines for the processing of electronic waste, using our many years of experience with crushing technology in the aggregates industry. Since then, we have continued to develop and enhance our products, which are based on a tradition of rugged mechanical designs. We are confident that our impact crushing approach has significant advantages over conventional cutting processes since it allows for selective crushing and lower wear-related costs. Today we offer complete plant solutions for a variety of recycling applications.

Our latest innovation is the IC process for recycling refrigeration units. Unlike conventional freeze condensation methods, this process converts environmentally hazardous gases into innocuous substances through catalytic conversion. Among other things, this significantly reduces operating costs.
