New: IC Process

For the recycling of refrigerators we have developed a totally new process under the name "IC process", which will be presented to the market at IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 for the first time. The appliances are first crushed in the BHS Rotorshredder. It operates continuously and with very low wear. The refrigerants and foam agents are treated by means of catalytic hydrolysis and converted into harmless substances. Compared to conventional cryocondensation or activated carbon filtration cost saving of about 50 % can be achieved. A throughput of up to 150 units/h is possible.
